I have a copy of 153 (the Contentious Journal)that states it is a parody issue. I do not believe it is actually RBCC #153 in "canon". I post it for the sake of argument, as someone will certainly say they saw it. Any info on this will be appreciated.
Number 151 seems to have a variant with a Harlan Ellison signed and numbered cover.

A Series of Rocket's Blast Comicollector (Rbcc)...

Starting today, we begin a series of Rocket's Blast/Comicollector! Yay, us!!!
I will be posting covers reverse-numerically and giving you trivia/info at an alarming rate. You will die happy if you follow along, so do the right thing.
I will start slowly with the Annual and Specials then move on to covers of the combined (what's that?) magazine and will eventually finish with the separated Rocket's Blast and the Comicollector!
Prepare to be amazed...

Cross-pollenating...

This is a carry over from my other blog:
This is "The Mighty Thaw", a 1967 mini-comic sold in packs like bubblegum cards. Yet another reach-out to the fans during the Marvel Age that helped spur interest in the characters and in turn create more fanzines.
